The car looks very good. Unfortunately, there aren't any modified TDdis that I know of... theres one mk4 1.8 TD Endura DE (you probably didn't get that model in Italy), STINGER_s car...

Theres just one thing that I didn't quite get... the guy says the car uses a Escort RS2000 intercooler... but there was never a turboed RS2000.

Sincerely, I don't know if the escort rs 2000 is turbo or not:it's possible that my friend is referring to the escort rs, that has a 2000cc motor?

Luca the car looks cool mate :P  but that intercooler is from a RS Turbo maybe escort or fiesta because RS2000 16V 150bhp does not have a turbo

Hi,

I own a 1.8 TD Fiesta (mk4) , with slight differences..... your Fiesta (mk5) runs with a fuel injection system, and my fiesta (mk4) uses a mecanic fuel pump system.

I think that i am the only person in this Forum that has the same car as your friend have. My car is a Fiesta 1753 TDdi (september, 2000), 5 doors.

My car is 100% stock. I know someone, in Portugal, that is able to work and tuning this kind of engines. That should cost me €450. But i am affraid of possibles problems with engine and clutch. That is the main reason my car is 100% stock.

About your friend's car I am     .  Congratulate him because he has a very, very good taste. That should be my car...       A "Black Bird" ....
And FINALLY I saw an intercooler in this engine!

Thank you and him very much.

Boas,

http://www.superchips.co.uk/bluefin/curves/fiestatd.pdf
